Fun for the child and the parent/teacher!
- Create a habit of self-care for yourself and your children or students.
- Learn how to embody mindfulness so that you can offer a kind, caring and authentic presence to yourself and those you care about.
- Learn child-friendly practices for concentrating, caring, connecting, nourishing, healing, and dealing with fear during these times.
This online course held over 8 weekly sessions will allow you to explore a toolbox of mindfulness practices. Each live session includes a blend of teaching, practice, reflection and optional Q&A. There will be a full suite of guided practices and other mindfulness resources to support your practice during the week – whether at school or at home.
We will learn some songs to care for our hearts and will explore our own mindfulness practice – as well as how to share it. We use our imagination and our creativity when we practice. You’re very welcome to bring paper and colouring supplies – and if your children are with you, know that they’re very welcome to colour anytime!
We will be meeting online weekly from 10am – 12pm on Saturdays from 6 Mar – 1 May 2021 (taking a break midway over Easter weekend). Certificates will be awarded on completion of the course.
The course equates to 16 hours CPD.
